Gallery-Ten 'Spring' Exhibition

Nothing better than spending a quiet weekend some time at a cozy independent gallery and be cultured. There's a certain accessibility about smaller galleries, the ambience is more relaxed, usually more contemporary and less of a formal mystery of ancient history in the surroundings. Independent galleries are worth the visit every now and then, and definitely has the same triumph as discovering a little treasure filled cove of a vintage shop. Artworks have the true power to inspire and even if you aren't a professional within the arts, good art can still speak to the individual. So drop by an art gallery near you the next time you have no plans for the weekend and want to do something different.

3 of the Hottest Accessory Trends for SS21

Just because lockdown restrictions are starting to ease doesn’t mean that you have to go out and buy a brand new outfit. Sure, you want to feel and look good at social events after a year of emotional turmoil. (We get it.) That said, sometimes all it takes is the right accessory to tap into current trends and take your style to the next level. Speaking of, here are 3 of the best accessory trends for Spring/Summer 2021 that would make the perfect addition to your existing wardrobe. Utilitarian Bags Firstly, it’s almost like the fashion industry has accounted for the fact that most of us haven’t needed a handbag in months. By introducing pretty-yet-practical options across the SS21 catwalks , they’re easing us back into the practice of carrying a bag. From Kenzo’s slouchy waist belt, to phone lanyards at Versace, to Dior’s straw grab-and-go versions, the focus is on the smaller, the better.  However, simplified, medium-size bags also did the rounds at Hermès and Prada for those who can’

'Between Bowties & Lady Butterflies'

Outfit details of the week: H&M Trend floral crop top purchased from my latest London trip two weeks ago.  Absolutely adore the print on this particular top, the combination of colours are striking yet brings together a blend of sophistication. What makes it super on trend is that it's made out of the scuba material which is super big this season, and if you haven't' noticed, the cropped length has absolutely taken over the runways! What's not to like.  Paired it with my lovely Topshop white thick cotton flared skirt for a clean crisp look. Love the contrast between the prints and clean crisp skirt.  White is the season's new black. These red hot studded kitten heels from Zara have been a good bargain from last season's sale and I've never regretted getting them.  To top it off, I've styled it with one of our very own CUP OF DAISIES scarves, and I knew instantly it had to be the Lady Red scarf. Fun fact: This particular

Treats From Me, To Me A Week Before Christmas.

With one week to go till Christmas day, I hit the shops to get the last bits and bobs to finally finish the shopping I started almost 2 months ago! I am a self accepted big spender on fashion, but I have been saving my money to spend on all my loved ones for Christmas - so a little treat for myself at the end of this shop was acceptable. The black sparkly sequined cropped top is from NEWLOOK . The original price was £19.99 however, I got it for £9 in the sale! I probably didn't really need another cropped top to add to my collection, but I couldn't stop imaging all the things I could wear with it and all the places it could make an appearance. And for the price, it needed to be taken home with me! You can dress it up with a pencil skirt, or dress down with a pair of high waited jeans. Either way, it will add a razzle dazzle to your outfit. THE BOOTS!! RIVERISLAND £25 SALE - WOW, these boots are so fun, and 90's and I just want to be a Spice Girl when I wear them
