Treats From Me, To Me A Week Before Christmas.

With one week to go till Christmas day, I hit the shops to get the last bits and bobs to finally finish the shopping I started almost 2 months ago!

I am a self accepted big spender on fashion, but I have been saving my money to spend on all my loved ones for Christmas - so a little treat for myself at the end of this shop was acceptable.

The black sparkly sequined cropped top is from NEWLOOK. The original price was £19.99 however, I got it for £9 in the sale! I probably didn't really need another cropped top to add to my collection, but I couldn't stop imaging all the things I could wear with it and all the places it could make an appearance. And for the price, it needed to be taken home with me!

You can dress it up with a pencil skirt, or dress down with a pair of high waited jeans. Either way, it will add a razzle dazzle to your outfit.

THE BOOTS!! RIVERISLAND £25 SALE - WOW, these boots are so fun, and 90's and I just want to be a Spice Girl when I wear them! They are very comfortable, and are a great height if you girls already have those amazing long legs. The white sole and heel, adds such an eye catching feature to a simple Chelsea style boot. Originally these boots were £40, and I definitely would have spent that on them, but I was lucky again to find them hanging there with a big red sale tag.

I am sure both items will be making an appearance soon as a full outfit!

GO GIRLS, GRAB THE SALES AND TREAT YOURSELVES :)!

Art in Fashion I: J.W. Anderson LFW

'Art in Fashion' is the next big trend! Inspired by English painter Graham Sutherland, J.W. Anderson's latest "pretty ugly" collection at London Fashion Week (LFW) 2014 offered an artful distortion of construction over unconventional palette. British designer, J.W.Anderson has once again created a collection to challenge the audience's take on art within fashion. Photo: Isidore Montag "In plebeian terms, if "pretty ugly" were a thing, Anderson nailed it. Citing English modern painter Graham Sutherland as a reference point, Anderson appropriated the queasy colour palette of alien green, murky mustards, watery browns, moss and greys from Sutherland's paintings onto his collection. Anderson went further by employing "ugly" fabrics like corduroy, black satin and a two-toned seaweed woven mix as a personal challenge this time. Admittedly, some of these fabrics are among his most abhorred." It is the very juxtaposition ...

RED NOSE DAY and the Hindmarch bags xx

Oscar Wilde: Be yourself everyone else is already taken! At "Cup of Daisies", we try to mix a bit of eclectic fashion with the relationship between charities and social awareness! So, especially for Comic Relief, me, I come out to strike a pose for Shelter Cymru, ADRA UK, Noah's Ark Appeal, Tenovus and Merlin UK, because standing up for a social cause improves your society, and together we do better! My selected design from the Comic Relief campaign for March 2015 was designed by Anya Hindmarch...yes, the Hindmarch bags!                                                              I am wearing the Nosebot!      ...

Bandanas are in vogue!

The 90’s are back! The looks  popularised by BeyoncĂ© and Christina Aguilera are back on the catwalks. The “sudden craze” around bandanas and scarves is revived .  Just fold it into a triangle with the V shape facing down, place it at the forehead and tie it underneath your hair . This accessory is a “must” as is racing through the ready to wear fashion and the markets.  Image : Courtesy of Vogue   The  bohemian look worn below by Christina Aguilera with a cropped red T-shirt and low waisted denim trousers is a classic of the 90s. This trend now is taking us by surprise. The bandana can be worn with a denim jacket or even a suit. While, the divas preferred denim trousers with a top and high heels, the catwalks, especially Dior and Marc Jacobs are recreating new looks.                                                       ...
