Styling Blue Pineapples

This is another blog post on 'what the interns are wearing', and today I'm here to talk about 'Blue Pineapples'.

This particular design is inspired by the Merlin Charity, who develops projects in Asia and Africa delivering medical expertise to countries shattered by war or suffering from natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods. The illustrations represent the national symbols of the countries where Merlin's work is currently being carried out.

This is one of Cup of Daisies' most favoured scarf and personally mine too. I think it's something to do with the striking contrast of the blue and white colours faintly representing an elegant china vase. I was going for an old style glamour look and wanted the scarf to be worn as a centre head piece.

With the head piece in mind, I worked my outfit around it and decided to pair the look with a two piece combo which I purchased recently from the H&M Trend collection for the season, a crystal-like statement necklace from Zara and to top it off, my favourite Prada Baroque sunnies.

Outfit details of the week: H&M Trend floral crop top purchased from my latest London trip two weeks ago. Absolutely adore the print on this particular top, the combination of colours are striking yet brings together a blend of sophistication. Anderson's latest "pretty ugly" collection at London Fashion Week (LFW) 2014 offered an artful distortion of construction over unconventional palette.
