'Between Bowties & Lady Butterflies'

Outfit details of the week:

H&M Trend floral crop top purchased from my latest London trip two weeks ago.
Absolutely adore the print on this particular top, the combination of colours are striking yet brings together a blend of sophistication. What makes it super on trend is that it's made out of the scuba material which is super big this season, and if you haven't' noticed, the cropped length has absolutely taken over the runways! What's not to like.

Paired it with my lovely Topshop white thick cotton flared skirt for a clean crisp look. Love the contrast between the prints and clean crisp skirt.
White is the season's new black.

These red hot studded kitten heels from Zara have been a good bargain from last season's sale and I've never regretted getting them.

To top it off, I've styled it with one of our very own CUP OF DAISIES scarves, and I knew instantly it had to be the Lady Red scarf.
Fun fact: This particular print was inspired by the Tenovus Charity. It reflects the projects they develop within Welsh communities- bringing care, treatment and support to people in need. For this, the scarf is designed with characters of heroic beautiful women, among other bow ties and lady butterflies, as well as honey pots.

Love how this look is undeniably Christmassy with the shades of red for the festive season. And to round it up, the Kenzo 'Flower in the Air' perfume with the iconic poppy is my go-to smell to complement it all.

Art in Fashion I: J.W. Anderson LFW

'Art in Fashion' is the next big trend! Inspired by English painter Graham Sutherland, J.W. Anderson's latest "pretty ugly" collection at London Fashion Week (LFW) 2014 offered an artful distortion of construction over unconventional palette. British designer, J.W.Anderson has once again created a collection to challenge the audience's take on art within fashion. Photo: Isidore Montag "In plebeian terms, if "pretty ugly" were a thing, Anderson nailed it. Citing English modern painter Graham Sutherland as a reference point, Anderson appropriated the queasy colour palette of alien green, murky mustards, watery browns, moss and greys from Sutherland's paintings onto his collection. Anderson went further by employing "ugly" fabrics like corduroy, black satin and a two-toned seaweed woven mix as a personal challenge this time. Admittedly, some of these fabrics are among his most abhorred." It is the very juxtaposition ...

RED NOSE DAY and the Hindmarch bags xx

Oscar Wilde: Be yourself everyone else is already taken! At "Cup of Daisies", we try to mix a bit of eclectic fashion with the relationship between charities and social awareness! So, especially for Comic Relief, me, I come out to strike a pose for Shelter Cymru, ADRA UK, Noah's Ark Appeal, Tenovus and Merlin UK, because standing up for a social cause improves your society, and together we do better! My selected design from the Comic Relief campaign for March 2015 was designed by Anya Hindmarch...yes, the Hindmarch bags!                                                              I am wearing the Nosebot!      ...

Bandanas are in vogue!

The 90’s are back! The looks  popularised by BeyoncĂ© and Christina Aguilera are back on the catwalks. The “sudden craze” around bandanas and scarves is revived .  Just fold it into a triangle with the V shape facing down, place it at the forehead and tie it underneath your hair . This accessory is a “must” as is racing through the ready to wear fashion and the markets.  Image : Courtesy of Vogue   The  bohemian look worn below by Christina Aguilera with a cropped red T-shirt and low waisted denim trousers is a classic of the 90s. This trend now is taking us by surprise. The bandana can be worn with a denim jacket or even a suit. While, the divas preferred denim trousers with a top and high heels, the catwalks, especially Dior and Marc Jacobs are recreating new looks.                                                       ...
