Street style campaign with love from Swansea!

Hello from Cup of Daisies! As I am  keen in style, I went on searching for true beauty and inspiration not on a far land ,but rather close...in Swansea. Up on the train I went, struggling at the arrival with bags and lots of caffeine, the treatment for "all tall and small". 'Striking a pose' around with my intern for new textures, colours and smashing with smiles! Show of the Day

On the 23rd of October I skipped the ordinary introduction and instead of presenting my eclectic art and scarves , I went on travelling around the Cardiff town to watch Lord of the Flies, a contemporary dance production under the direction of Matthew Bourne and Scott Ambler. Set design and costumes depicted contemporary school uniforms, and with a mystical touch the designers are reconstructing the deserted island between red, green and yellow lights,nevertheless using mist and a heavy use of metal display. The props on the stage had a multi purpose as the dancers will climb, jump and dance their ritual.  Every space available was used within the performance and the excellent choreography made the amateurs  young students to blend and achieve exceptional standards. The fluidity of the action projected the dance as soft and poetic,cutting out the violence of the acting which it is very well explained in the fantastic novel of William Golding.
